AFL is a serious, I could say professional tool.
On the other side, is a nice [free of charge] game.
To interpret Tomasz announcement [in my way], we have a limited time
period to solve permanently the ranking question till 4.50.
After this date, it will be a trivial AFL function [or procedure] and
some new users will use it just like the other functions.
BTW, some friend wrote to my private mail and, among the others, he
was wondering if profits increase proportionally to the [doubtless ]
amibroker evolution.
Frankly speaking, it was a simple but tough question.
I apply the Daily/Weekly Divergence principle the last two years or
so. I recently closed, after one year, the December Gold trading.
The procedure was somehow tedious, separate daily/weekly charts etc,
but when the application time comes, it is nothing serious for 5 or 7
trades/year. It would take also less then a min to hit the results
list and select the top5 or top10 for some condition and decide what
to do tomorrow morning.
So, let us see two different things : amibroker evolution and trading
success. In my opinion, amibroker integrity increased immesurably the
feeling that what I see in my pre-trading results will occur tomorrow.
But, this is a personal opinion [I am a chartist, in one way or
another] and may be quite different from others.
I know some, quite successful, traders who have no idea of T/A. They
can not explain [and there is no need to explain] how they make money
from the stock market. They also didn't explain how they lost huge
amounts of money from Jan2000 till the spring of 2001 [they suddenly
understood that the market has some ...peculiarities]. I really
admire their style, the sure thing is that I could never do it, not
even immitate it. They also like my style, but they never understood
the reason I do what I do [since the market is that simple !!].
Anyway, I think you like amibroker and that's good.
