Ed,

You can use eSignal as EOD data source as well, but...
updating 30000+ symbols (Quotes Plus provides that many and more)
with eSignal would require many hours of scanning in 'wait for backfill' mode,
while daily update with Quotes plus is a matter of minutes.

This is because eSignal uses data-on-demand (per-symbol) approach
while QP2 just delivers all EOD data for all US symbols in one download.
