When you do an exploration on the last 5 days it will give you results for
each of the 5 days, therefor you get your conditions satisfied for ABC 2
times during that 5 day period. If you have a 1 day period chosen, it only
looks at the last day on the chart, and thus can only ever give you one
result.
Not certain what you mean by totalling all hits on the graph of the
condition. An indicator or exploration will go through all of the chart from
the beginning and work its way up to today. If you only want the last few
days (etc) for the indicator or explore you would need to set a range start
date for it, and anything before that would be Null. Don't know if I have
answered you correctly, must be too late for me. Will send this, and have
another look in morning with fresh head. Or maybe someone else can see what
I am missing tonight

Could you explain a few things:
1- Why is the graph Pattern N-5 showing more than one entry for ABC when
using N=5 but only one entry using N=1?
2- Why is graph Pattern N-5 still totaling all hits when it should only
look at the last 5 quotes? Same thing using dates.
3-Why is graph indicator which is the same pattern, not showing the
the most recent hits listed in graph Pattern N-5 and Chart gif?
