Hello,
When trying to update daily stock data within
AmiBroker, there are quite a few number of stocks that can not be
downloaded for whatever reason at the first attempt. However, downloading those
small number of stocks separately in another AmiQuote application, results in a
successful download of about 30% downloadable stocks!
Obviously, the settings or some other effects
influence the download process. Thus, the "cleanup procedure" incorporated in
AmiBroker definitely "cleans" tradable stocks as well - at least from my recent
investigations. Therefore, everybody should try to find out whether a stock to
be removed by the "cleanup procedure" within AmiBroker is traded or not.
Otherwise, you gradually loose some "weight" (number of tradable stocks) in your
database :-) .
Wouldn't it be better to retry a download
automatically those smaller number of "not downloadable" stocks in a
separate session?
