Try starting RT with IQConnection mgr closed.

I'm running AB in real-time mode. My datafeed is IQFeed. It was
running well last time I used it. After the market's close I shut
down the software. Now I cannot load AB anymore.


Bob, I tried your suggestion to no avail. Same problem messages occur. So .... I removed AB from my Windows 2000 professional, wiped out all the subdirectories and did a new install. So far it is working. Still, it doesn't resolve my problem in a software acceptable way. I can choose this option of getting AB running because I don't have it implemented for months and years. If I had then this option of resolution would not be acceptable.
