Trip for 14 hops].
Therefore adding new lists takes lots of patience; I will eagerly await
"wait for backfill".
I'm sure BTW that QCharts filled backwards. Is that an option for any of
the AB RT feeds?

Just an FYI - IQfeed online tech support chat is really good.
Haven't heard of any problems with IQfeed for quite a while. Just checked
with a known user and they have seen no problems today at all.

It feeds Ensign, etc., or their DTNIQ.
Can't tell whether the problems I see using it with AmiBroker are due to

Bob,
IQFeed history interface currently allows one backfill at a time.
This is the reason why you can not backfill by scan, since scan
triggers the download of one symbol and proceeds with the next,
but the old download is in progress.
Right now you have to open chart and wait a few seconds to backfill
(if symbol is newly added). I have no way to speed up the backfill
process since it is controlled entirely by IQFeed API.
What I will provide in next version of AmiBroker is a special
"wait for backfill" box that will cause that scanner will wait for the
plugin
during scanning so you will be able to get all symbols data without
opening charts.
This switch will work with IQFeed, myTrack and eSignal plugins.
