A ticker cannot only go under the indicies folder. What I have done
is create a market called indicies (because when backtesting or
exploring on the NYSE or NASDAQ one doesn't want to see the indicies)
and then mark those indicies I most wish to view on a regular basis.
Marking a ticker as an indice is fairly simple, though cannot be done
en masse. Right click the symbol in the tree and select information
(CTRL+F) and check the indice box in the lower right hand corner of
the informaiton window. This will place this ticker in the indice
tree. I have written a Macro Express routine to automate this via a
hotkey. This is because Ami requires a manual execution of this
procedure.
Note: You'll notice in Organize Assignments that there is no area for
Favorites or Indicies.
