Rik,
I had the same problem when Dreamweaver's installation
"hijacked" the js extension. I seem to remember repairing the
situation by copying the vbs filetype definition to the js
filetype.
My Win2k system has two "Open" settings for the js
filetype.
1) Open =
C:\WINNT\System32\WScript.exe "%1"
%*
2) Open with Command Prompt =
C:\WINNT\System32\CScript.exe "%1"
%*
Unfortunately, I do not understand Windows scripting sufficiently to
explain the distinction between WScript and CScript, but JScript has been
working here as it should, including from AB's Tools menu.
In the hope this might help...
Regards,
Mark
