yes, Thomasz, such functions are exactly what I'm interested in.

My requirement is not extremely urgent, however. But over the
medium term functions to inquire about meta information would open
up very interesting possibilities.

I have yet to take a closer look at the chartID concept and also the
exact terminology used by you to avoid misunderstandings. (chart,
chart sheet, chart pane - I'd assume that chart is used as synonym
for chart pane). Is it possible for an indicator assigned to
a chart pane to obtain the chartID of the chart pane?

Further, during explorations a formula is not assigned to a specific
chart pane. It would be useful if an exploration formula (if
necessary with the help of a plug-in) could iterate through all
chart panes for a given stock and within each chart pane through
all studies drawn in that chart pane.

So we do not need just the functionality to retrieve all study IDs
for given stock and given chart. But in addition we need the
functionality to retrieve all chart IDs for a given stock,
ie. the IDs of all chart panes for a given stock.

Also, for a given chart pane, it would be helpful to
be able to obtain some information on the chart pane,
e.g. whether the y-axis (and in turn the line studies)
are scaled in semi-log mode, and what the parent
chart sheet of the chart pane is.

Again, my proposal is not urgent for the very near term,
more a proposal for the further development of AB
during the medium-term.

best regards,

Wolfgang
