I am not sure what you mean??  My post was in reference to the shorthand
you provided for self-assigned addition and subtraction (multiplication,
division and modulus operations also).  While they do exist in C++ and
Javascript, they do not function properly in Amibroker yet.

My manual is decieving,

The double minus is actually shown as 1 long  minus, when  compared 
to a sample formula using a  single minus.
