I used MetaStock for years and also SuperCharts and
TradeStation. So I am very familiar with how they work
and perform.
AMIbroker is light years ahead of them. It is far more
programmable and is at least 10 times faster. Granted
it has a steeper learning curve and is really geared
toward programmers. I am doing today what is only dreamed about
in MS and Tradestation.
Take your time and learn AmiBroker. You can implement
almost any trading system. It works best on very complicated
systems.
Am I biased, sure I am, I finally found a program that
does what I want, not what someone thinks I want and
the improvements come weekly(thanks Tomasz).
