with the upgrade version. It will ask you to insert the ME disk temporarily to
verify that you are eligible for the upgrade version. Just be sure to keep the
ME disk so that if you need to re-install it at some time, you will have it
available.

than I can buy a full version
of XP Home (upgrades to XP Home seem rare).
As I have my original ME disc, is there any
possible downside to XP Pro
(upgrade) compared with XP Home (Full)?
I have simple requirements, I don't run a server
or a home network. I AM
about to get connected via ADSL (but I don't think
it is relevant).
