Bob,
I'm also on ME. If I change to XP
would you recommend a clean install, or simple upgrade?
Steve

Sounds like the ME update caused something to occasionally
grab theclock timer. A # of games used to do that.BTW I'd
strongly suggest dumping ME for 2k or XP.Bob-----Original

Re: [amibroker] Off Topic - For Computer GurusThank you very much
Dan - I *think* I have fixed the problem. Soundsstrange, but I think it
was somehow caused when I downloaded andinstalledthe latest WinME
update from the MS site. I noticed the trouble startedtheday after I
did this, so just for the heck of it I went to NortonUtilitiesand ran
WinDoctor, DiskDoctor and Registry Optimizer, and the clock
hasbeenright back on time ever since. I have no clue what it
fixed, but I amnotone to look a gift horse in the
mouth : - )Steve----- Original Message
