Nigel,
I am approaching adaptation to bigger family :-)
but I also had some hardware problems (need to replace hard disk,
restore backups, upgraded my main development machine to XP in
the mean time (that should result in less XP-related problems in the future)),
we are also preparing new bigger flat to move in in late April, etc.
So, as you can see the time now is a little bit special.
