Not only that. Range markers can be used to perform two-pole 
calculations using
BeginValue and EndValue as described in the 
guide.

  I'm obviously missing something here, but can someone tell 
  me what the white triangle at the bottom of each of the three plots 
  means?
  It doesn't appear to correlate with any settings that I 
  have.
  No, I didn't use PlotShapes or ApplyStop.
