Tomasz,  I  realize  that you
'display all symbols exactly as they appear in QP2 master stock records.'The
problem is that there are thousands of stale symbols in the master stock record,
but most of them are innocuous in QP [but not AB] in that they are accessible
only  via 'Search for Symbol' as I posted to Nick.
Janene of QP asked for
and  I sent  her the resulting list of stale symbols [as detected by
cleanup.js], but she has yet to get back to me.Re importing QP
lists, telling the wizard 'no quotation data' discards the trailing stuff fine,
but to my surprise did require the default <comma> as the separator
-- testing with <space> resulted in the watch list behavior as per the
attached gif.
Wouldn't just defaulting to
<comma>  in  your "watch list" importer  solve my
problem?

Re: [amibroker] Re: Some Symbols not showing up in
Explorations(Tomasz)Bob,1. "ZZZZ A" problem - I will check
what can I do.For your information:I display alll symbols exactly as
they appear in QP2 master stock
records.========================================================2.
Did I say that it is hard to parse? No it isn't - the ASCII importercan
parse it and lots of more complex stuff. The ASCII importer was able to do
that back in 1995if we are speaking about the dates.I did not add
this to the "watch list" importer yet becausethis has to be handled as an
exception from the rule(why? because some data source use COMMAS in tickers
- seeQuoteTracker with certain data sources)This feature was added along
with 10 others in 2 day time betweenbetas. So please be patient I can not do
more than I do.Best regards,Tomasz
