Nand,
By design the controlling triangle is displayed in the dotted pattern only
when you are drawing/moving/sizing the Andrews' pitchfork.
When you release mouse button only 3 parallel lines are displayed.
To distinguish for from other trendlines just CHANGE THE COLOR.
