I had problems with running native QP on WIN2000.
They also confirmed, after numerous conversations, that they can duplicate
my situation but were not willing to do anything at the time....

The problems get bad if you use the computer in
user mode, rather than administrator - in user mode AB can not access
QP2.

So maybe a few others have complained.... They said
they were not MS certified for compatibillty ... basically they had QP designed
for WIN 98 and now they are considering upgrading ...

  Windows XP
The only application I have problems with under XP is the
nativeQuotes Plus 2 software. BUT Amibroker works fine accessing
the QP2 database. In addition, myown VB6 software that accessed QP2 via
the QP2.dll works fine.I can consistantly crash XP with certain QP2
functions. And my nativeQP2 scans abort fairly consistantly. The
same QP2 functions that give me a problem under XP work fine
underWin/98.After months of reporting the problem to the QP2
support people, Ifinally proved the problem existed by getting a friend to
duplicatethe errors, and QP2 then acknowlegded that they can duplicate
theproblem. They now say that they are working on a fix. But that was
acouple of weeks ago, and no fix releases yet.Every other
application I have runs fine under XP.Regards,Phsst---
