No, DSL...as the base station.
However when traveling and connecting in Europe or South America, we
are talking sizeable d/l times and cost overhead, plus lost
connections. When I loose a connection after, say message 75 out of
100, the next re-dial starts all over again. Some connections in
remote areas fall back to 2,400 and will not renegotiate up.
But such is the life of those that travel the world.
