It seems to me that users have different opinions
whether the included code should be displayed. If there was an option in the
#INCLUDE statement (such as #INCLUDE "...", DISPLAY) then all users would be
satisfied. I can initially see using the "display" option then later removing it
after testing.

Dingo,
If you ever saw C/C++ program you would know what is
#include for.
Many people have not several but TENS of pages of AFL
code.
Also some people use JScript/VBScript and have functions
defined
in them as described in <A
href="">http://www.amibroker.com/newsletter/13-2001.html
#include is the obvious choice for common
functions.

Different
strokes, I guess, Dingo.
<FONT color=#0000ff

I'd have
a major problem if the #include directive in C [or uses or import or ...
in other languages] inserted several pages of source

If
I wanted to insert source code, cut and paste would
suffice.

Ken,
When using #include please note that if you
specify the full path
it should have single backslashes (this is
different from regular AFL code that
needs double backslashes).
So your sample #include statement should look
like this:
#include "C:\Program
Files\AmiBroker\AFL\MyFile.afl"

Hello Ken,
Thanks for the link.
I think also about such a
program.
What i would find extremly
usefull is a program, that allows to paste any text from
a textfile as .afl for example into amibroker.
That would be great.
Maybe someone can suggest
anyone.
