Not just that... the old database names WHETHER THEY EXIST OR NOT are
listed ... they should be removed from the File list because they have
been removed or the names changed.

I think, they can only be overwritten by opening another database.
But i agree, that it would be a good suggestion to reduce the number of
databases to a user defined value.
