1. Outlook is too slow to handle notifications 
efficiently.
2. Your SMTP server should allow mutliple connections -if it 
does not - you can download
and install freeware MERCURY SMTP server (<A 
href="">www.pmail.com) - once installed on your local 
machine
it can handle hundreds of connections and 
it can relay messages to the outside world very efficiently
