Anthony:
I have not studied all aspects of Gann, concentrating
on geometry rather than astrology. The Gann books are not the
greatest. On the geometric side, there is Jenkins and Gilmore for
starters. The following URLs list a bunch of books:

Beyond that you will have to pick things up from
individual traders (Yahoo groups, etc.) and webpages (do a Google search).

Trendline Bill;
Thanks for the response and interest , It is my understanding thatwe
use trading days in Gann analysis , ( is this correct ? ).That means
subtracting weekends and holidays.
Peter gave a reference to a web page, which seemed to have some good
information.
Thank you , Any help would be appreciated. Anthony wavemechanic

OK, but keep in mind that calendar days vs trading days

Trendline Bill;
I am interested in Gann Analysis.....I believe the line is drawn 1
unit of run ( time- x axis) to 1 unit of rise ( price- y axis). Iwas
interested in a formula to code into ami to make it automatically
drawn from significant high or low. Thank you Anthony

Anthony: Do you want to
draw the line relative to the chart or relative to the screen
(Metastock uses the term trendline by angle to refer to screen
coordinates)? Are you getting into Gann analysis and squaring
of price and time (death angle is a Gann expression)?

Trendline Hi Tomasz;
If I were to select a significant low point or high point on a
chart, and wished to draw a trendline by angle, from the
significant point, ( ex. 45 degrees ) is this possible.I have
read somewhere that the 45 degree angle is the death angle.
Thank you in advance.
