1. The categories are not sorted automatically so the only way
is to define them in alphabetical order. But.. you may expect
sorting feature coming up soon.

2. I would suggest reading all back issues of the newsletter 
(http://www.amibroker.com/newsletter/) and S&C trader's tips
available from member's area (http://www.amibroker.com/login.html)

Don't forget to visit AFL on-line library (http://www.amibroker.com/library/list.php)
and take a look at the formulas that are listed with "basic" difficulty level.

3. Yes, there is a way, but it depends on your data source.
