I've been using AmiBroker for about a week now and I have to say that
it is probably one of the best investments I will ever make. My hats
off the those who created and helped this piece of software become
what it is today. I love the ability to create my own indicators and
the general layout and graphs and I know that I have not even begun
to tap into the power of this product.
Since I'm a newcomer, I have a lot of questions that probably have
been answered many times over. Please bear with me as I learn the
ins and outs, ok?
1. Is there any way to sort the Markets, Groups, Sectors, Industries
and Watchlists by name like the indicators are now?
2. What .AFL files would you recommend a I download from
amibroker.com to learn more about creating .AFL files myself? The
AFL reference guide is great for reference but I'm looking for real
life applications. I'm interested in learning how to create
indicators, Automatic Analysis scans and explorations.
3. Is there a way to import sector, industry, & financial
information into AmiBroker for a new company from a website and/or
text file? If so, how?
I'm sure I'll have more questions later but this is it for now.
