Having stocks in multiple sub-directories

Dear fellow users,
 
Iīd like to store a given stock in different (letīs 
say two) AB sub-directories to be able to conduct different studies (i.e. 
different swing lengths or else) with it and then compare them.
 
If those studies were superimposed over each other, 
I couldnīt see the forest for the trees anymore.
 
Additionally, Iīd then like to open those two 
studies simultaneously to compare them side by side.
 
Which feature enables the first, please? Watchlists 
or a better way? The seoncond then should be possible thru Window>NEW window, 
right?
