Use the way that requires less (manual) work for you.
There is virtually no speed difference in importing
1. one huge file with all stocks and all quotes
2. several thousands of big files holding single stock quotes
3. several thousands of big files holding single day quotes of all stocks
Just remember to check if the format is correct by importing
one small file having the same data layout as the "real" ones.
Also remember that you can select MULTIPLE files to import
at once by SHIFT-clicking on the files in the dialog.
