Hello,
The problem is that there are thousands of exchanges throughout the world,
and tens of thousands providers. A few give EOD data free, the other
services are paid, one prefers given service over another and this
brings huge number of possibilities.
If I were busy implementing imports I would have NO TIME to work on AmiBroker
itself.
Please note that no software vendor (as far as I know) provides
free quotes for all exchanges throughout the world.

Issues regarding data must come up a thousand times a year.
Wouldn't it be easier just to maintain a database at amibroker and let
people click there? If someone wants the swahili stock exchange, ask where
they get now, and you massage it into shape and then do a daily automatic
update. Perhaps this will not address real time issues later but it could
work?
