scenarios.

possible to disable or make steady the 'Optimization Step x' window. Its 
blinking makes impossible to use any menus during optimization (which can 
take significant time), because any time this window appears (several timesper 
second in my case) any open pop-up/pull-down menus are immediately 
closed.
