This comment has really got my hopes up. In addition to Amibroker I
use VectorVest (VV). Although many of the VV data columns are just
calculations of price and volume data (which the current version of
Amibroker can easily recalculate), VV has some unique data fields.
Unique data includes RV (Relative Strength), RS (Relative Safety), RT
(Relative Timing), Value (something like a price target based on
fundamentals and momentum), PE (their PE is a forward looking
estimate so it too is only available in VV), and GRT (Growth project,
another forward looking data point). I would love to be able to do
back tests with these data points using Amibroker with its superior
speed, backtesting reports, and optimization features.
Are you familiar with VectorVest? Will it be possible to use
Amibroker to access its price data fields (what Amibroker has ready
has)? To access VV's unique datafields?
