the help manual (see "HELP" on tool bar at top) is usually a good idea to
read first. While no-one wants to disrupt Tomasz's business, there are a
lot of us here and we all get your email. So have a quick read first. You
might also open and operate every single button/menu tool you can find and
just see what happens for a day or two. You can always unzip and re-load if
you become completely lost while you are playing and re-set to ground zero
defaults.

Tools =>preferences will answer your horizontal gridline issue. The rerst
I'll leave to others.
