Considering purchasing Amibroker, got some questions

Hi,
i'm considering jumping from Metastock to Amibroker.

I have some questions:

1) I use to draw lots of line studies and text on my charts, can I 
have those trendlines saved so next time I'll open a particular 
chart, it will display its own studies i've ploted ?

2) Is Amibroker here to stay ? Is it something serious or something 
that can vanish a day or another ?
