Hi All,
I have a "fuzzy" problem with understanding fully
AmiQuote1.2
My major problem with using it, or the 1.1 version, is in missing a day
or two of data completely. Tjhis happens when going out of town, on
vacation or even getting totally "under the weather" and simply
forgetting to download a days data. This forces me to download HISTORICAL
data for those missed days.
My understanding WAS, (before 1.2), that appending Historical data to the
database erased all previous data -- which essentially means that the
whole database must be re-downloaded to get those days of data that one
missed.
Now that HISTORICAL data CAN be APPENDED, does this mean that, that
command CAN be used to update the database WITHOUT deleting the previous
db?
If that is NOT true, is there any way one can convert the HISTORICAL data
downloaded from Yahoo for those "missing" days, into the DAILY
format so that they can be appended to the database - thus saving the
download of the entire db?
I'd appreciate any direction that would assist me in understanding,
enabling and or creating the updating process using historical data.
