Thanks Tomasz that would be great,  maybe a 
bit more info on strings used in ami could be handy too..
 
I'm sure some of the other more skilled users 
(programmers) could whip up scripts to import data to other fields within the 
ami data base ..
 
eg auto scripts to load data into financial fields 
etc , hi haven't used ami for fundamental search as I didn't want to enter 
them manually.

It seems that we need some more functions 
dealing with strings :-)
OK. I will add some, so searching for 3letter 
codes only will be possible.
 
Currently you can use JScript to assignall 3 
letter tickers to one group
and perform filtering by that 
group.

searches to parent codes only
 
on the asx parent codes are 3 characters 

 
can I list only stockcodes that are xxx only ?
