In this weeks newsletter, I wrote that the chance of this
very sharp move down predicted last week is even greater this week. So,
did it crash? Answer: Not yet.
Compliments to CH for the 815 call for yesterday, Mon that he made on
Fri Jan 30.
Mkt gapped down to 815 on open from Fridays close at 826.
I sold SPY PUTs at 81 betting that Feb bottoms, temporarily.

Wonder what
the market will do with CA defaulting on tax refund checks come Monday.
I don't see 4500s this early in the game, but I can see some Lehman like
clouds having already formed.

The behavior of the market over the last two days is
scarey! There is the STRONG possible of a crash and new lows within the next 5
days. As I have said in the past, this market could botton around 4500. Of
course "could" is the key word here, but the mere fact that we are talking
about 4500 "could" be the low is scarey in itself. Please keep this in mind
when trading over the next 5 days.
