Years ago when MO was getting bent by cigarette litigation, the
dividend yield was over 11% when it bottomed.
MO tripled the
following year.
C div yield is more than 13% and BAC is 11%. PFE is
nearing 9%.
We are again setting records, it's been 50 years since
stock market
yield is greater than 10 year note.
Just as we saw in
housing with 50 year low in interest rates, we may
be on the verge of the
greatest buying
opportunity in 50 years to own equities. Buy the index
funds,
hubris is replaced with new wood while never going to
zero.
