For the attached chart we ran a Fourier analysis on monthly
data back to 1921.
The most dominant cycle was a 95 month (7.9 years) so I took
that number
and plotted the calculated value of such a period to the end
of the data
and then projected the cycles forward.
We know this is going to be a long recession and this gives an
idea of how long.
