it suggests we are  closer to the floor than to the cieling

to be safe my buy stop  will be at 9307

Attached is the weekly for the USD vs Yen.  Note it's low in March roughly coincided with the high in gold.  USD vs Yen is now getting close to some hefty resistance.  It's upcoming high could coincide with a significant low for gold??
