Yes I hear you Tim.  Being a very short term trader, generally in an out in 15-30 minutes, I find the stop running sometimes helpful in that you can often go with the pit.................yet at other times like yesterday just before the close I was surprised and covered only to end up reentering.  It would be nice to know more about what the commercials are doing and when.

And yeah Mark........... in my opinion, moves like this are typically orchestrated to allow some big buyers to enter at the sell stops of smaller weak handed retail buyers.  And yes it seemed like a BS move considering the bigger picture.  Now there are still more stops 1398.25 and they may grab those before the regular open Monday morning.

At 2:46 Merrill started buying 1000 cars, they were done at 2:55, locals ran them down and scrambled to cover by selling to cash close buyers.
It?s a good idea to know who can move the market and what they are doing if you trade futures unless you use 10 handle stops.

End of the day was the big run. A 6 point drop in about 4 minutes.  But 3:06 was another if you trade futures.
