Absolutely. And there are also several papers he
published on the period that will help with the larger
world picture--try rither the Hoover Institute or just
google him and look for links to papers.

There is another book I am thinking of that covers
this period and gives the nitty gritty details. If I
can find it in the library upstairs, I'll post the
name--it's a wonderful [but not popular] read about
what truly went on in the world during that period.
