Yes, it is.  Some way, some how, I am nearly certain that the tax 
payers are going to get stuck with the bank folly and bailing out the 
insurers would certainly qualify as one way.  I'm for Buffet's idea, 
take out the municipals, guarantee those via any means necessary and 
let the rest of the mess they decided to insure, rot in the sunlight.
