I?d like someone?s opinion on the stock MALL. I have a position in it but I?m gradually liquidating it because it meets my PE criteria to sell. I generally follow an automatic back-tested value-based system that I?ve developed in VectorVest.

Here?s the problem. The P/E (35) is too high according to my rules. (The highest P/E of all my system holdings) However the P/S (0.18) is exceedingly, low (The lowest of all my system holdings). The GPE (Inverse of PEG) is 0.87 (the lowest ? worst ? of all my system holdings.) In addition, the "Sales Growth" is -1. (the lowest of all my system holdings.)

So my question is: with such a low P/S, how can it have such a high P/E and negative sales growth. I know this can occur but I?m wondering if I should just mark this up to probable faulty VectorVest data.
