Maybe the difference is 8.1 -vs- 8.0 which is what I still
have - the
following works on
8.0.
$adv
$decl
$vix.x
Have you tried the insert symbol
function - where you right click in a quote
window and select insert symbol
and then get a box popup where you can click
on look-up - if this is
available in 8.1?
