I think that the shorts got a bit overanxious and got their stops run this afternoon. All the hallmarks of a short covering rally ... fast, relentless price move and mediocre (for the price move) A/D volume.

 

I closed out my long from Monday morning to stand aside a look things over.

I see the market moving (choppily) higher for the next several days to week, quite likely led by the techs. The market will continue with an elevated risk of sharp declines. I will continue to trade lightly long during rallies while watching for opportunities to establish substantial short position trades from higher levels.
