[RT] eSIGNAL VOLUME DATA

There must be guys on this list who are also eSignal subscribers.  In that connection I've never understood the end of day volume numbers that eSignal reports to wit:

 

$TVOL = NYSE Total Volume

$TVOLQ = NASDAQ Total Volume

 

Why are the numbers at the end of the day always 'inflated' or larger than the numbers that appear in the WSJ the next

day? 

 

Would someone please care to explain the reported differences?
