Every now and then, we get someone or some people who spoof member's mail
as their return address and then send "junk" to our list.
Yahoo does not have an auto check to traceroute all incoming mail so they
let anything through that has a "reply to" address that matches
and no obvious virii embedded or attached. I've found the spoofers
quickly give up as they have no means of seeing if their mails get
through or not. (Kind of like breaking windows when no one is
home). I'm watching the problem and communicating with yahoo about
the problem.

This is
kenoor.
My machine is clean folks.
It is behind a very secure firewall and is
scanned twice daily for viruses.
All incoming and outgoing email is also
scanned.
I am not sending anything with a virus to
anyone anywhere at any time.

Thanks for posting this Ira. I was thinking I was the only one noticing
this and thought I was a paranoid target...not so I see.
There was one with Clyde Lee's name and another from kenoor which had
attachments with viruses.
I do not believe Clyde would ever do that and I had just sent kenoor some
info he had requested so what is going on is quite confusing.
I also sent out a clean attachment with a Pivot Calculator and never saw
it come through in the posts.
Comments appreciated.
Sincerely,
John
