Hi Earl,
The only product I've found is SCMagic.com. They
collect IB tick data for the futures that are tradeable through IB as well as
indexes and some European stocks and indexes. As far as I know it only
works with Sierra Charts. I've been working with Sierra charts for the
last couple weeks and find it difficult to use but it's the only tool I've found
that has an IB data backfill capability.
Ensign and QuoteTracker both access IB tick data but,
based on their email responses, neither plans to enable access to SCMagic
for backfill. They told me to subscribe to eSignal or IQFeed or some other
realtime data service for backfill. If I wanted to pay for those services
I wouldn't be looking for a product that uses IB's data feed.

Hi Earl,
I downloaded QuoteTracker today and used it with IB's
data. The only difficulty I had was deciphering IB's ticker symbols
for futures. However, the QuoteTracker Help page has a section
explaining how to construct IB's futures tick symbols for
QuoteTracker. Once everything was 'defined' properly it worked rather
well.

QuoteTracker does not work with IB's data. I have looked briefly at
Sierra charts which uses the IB feed and the related intraday infill
package. I have not, however, had time to evaluate it.

sites. Just don't use their beta versions if you want to trade and
not fix it constantly.

The signup screen for "Tahoe Charts, supporting various datafeeds
(Beta)" brings up an eSignal signup screen. Also no information on the
seamless back fill on charts which you mention.
