Hi Earl,
 
I downloaded QuoteTracker today and used it with IB's 
data.  The only difficulty I had was deciphering IB's ticker symbols for 
futures.  However, the QuoteTracker Help page has a section explaining how 
to construct IB's futures tick symbols for QuoteTracker.  Once everything 
was 'defined' properly it worked rather well.

  QuoteTracker does not work with IB's data. I have looked briefly at 
  Sierra charts which uses the IB feed and the related intraday infill package. 
  I have not, however, had time to evaluate it.

    day charts with up to 5 day backfill at some data feed sites.  
    Just don't use their beta versions if you want to trade and not fix it

      The signup screen for "Tahoe Charts, supporting various datafeeds 
      (Beta)" brings up an eSignal signup screen. Also no information on the 
      seamless back fill on charts which you mention.
