Hi Charles,
Amibroker offers a shareware program that will download free intraday
data of various time periods from Quote.com (10-20 minute delayed):
http://www.amibroker.com/download.html
HQuotePro does the same thing - cost is $49
http://www.hquotes.com/
The rule of thumb for front month rollover is one week before
expiration. Another way of stating it is the day before the 2nd Friday
of the contract month. This can be changed by the pit committee, but it
hardly ever occurs. The last time it was changed was in September,
2001, right after the Twin Towers tragedy.
