Ira, maybe that's your zonealarm "mailsafe"
feature
ZA will see any filename extension that is
considered executable and relace it with zl9...etc
if it is a legitimate file then you will manually
change the extension back to the original to run it

Who keeps sending attachments a .zlo or
.z** extension. I am getting thank yous, a message from noos and
dozens of other senders. I won't open them. Is this a virus
being sent? I have checked my machine 4 times in the last 2 days and it
